about me

A loner, although do enjoy the occasional companionship, if you can handle it. Enjoys long term friendships, sensitive, ponders a lot about life and people.

Hello, win? [ 3:46 pm ]

Didn't thought I'd be doing what I did. I don't think I'd want to wear a pair of wings anymore haha ... thinking about it, that's so ghey man. Anyways, had a good time last Friday with Kanmani's office colleagues. Didn't know Shooks would turn up as well, so it's good to have another familiar face. So, where did we end up? Quattro at Avenue K. I hate this place, ESPECIALLY the Autumn Bar where we were at. Gosh ... I thought we would be at some nice place with awesome music and not those boom-boom crap. My ears nearly exploded ... this brought back bad memories, told myself not to go to these places anymore. But, I guess it was a good thing that I went ... had to make sure she's safe. ANYHOOOO ... only a few of us were in costumes. At some moment, I did felt stupid walking around with a pair of wings and a fake moustache hahaha ... but you know what? No one cared, and no one stared. Guess people here are used to weirdos. Kanmani was suppose to dress up as a vampire ... but failed 'coz the tooth didn't fit. In the end, she ended up being a ... umm ... I won't use the word here. Her colleagues are ok people I guess, though there are one or two I'd keep an eye on.

I'm rather fond of my fake moustache. I think I make a pretty good sleazy fella from Casablanca. You can see the photo on facebook. See? Sleazy right? If only I had a walking stick, that would be awesome. We left the place around 3.30am. I'm not going there anymore nor any place with loud music. Jazz lounge/bar/bistro yes, 'boom-boom' clubs? No thank you. Would I go if I had to? If it's to make sure my lady friends are safe, I will.

I woke up pretty late on Saturday, good thing it was the weekend. Somehow I felt like my day was wasted. I kinda lazed around in the afternoon, couldn't go out or do anything as there's a wedding to attend in the evening. Ow came over around 6pm ... and we're off to JW Marriott for our Director's wedding. I've never been to JW Marriott. Ok place. The wedding was ok ... though I've been trying to figure out how come his brother speaks in a pretty strong Texan accent. So weird. I took a wrong turn on our way home ... I really hate the back lanes of KL. One wrong turn and you're lost .... argh. In the end we ended up on the Kesas Highway.

I think I had a good weekend.

I am still considering whether to take one or two weeks off next month for Christmas and the year end break. Since this year I won't be involved with the Christmas production, this gives me a little freedom to move about. I might want to go somewhere ... but dunno where, sad right? Chances are, no one's gonna have the time to spend with me hahaha ... since I'm pretty sure the rest will be occupied with the production. Sad, right?

I'm suppose to get my iPhone fixed today, but that guy ran out of parts. It will cost me 800 bucks to fix it. Crazy right? Why go through all the trouble you say? What? You expect me to sell a faulty iPhone? No No ... tempting, but no. I'm gonna sell it off when I get it fixed. No more iPhones for me, BUT, I'm looking into the Nokia 5800. Another touch screen phone ... since my pampered fingers aren't used to the regular keypads anymore. It's gonna be A LOT more cheaper than the iPhone, retailing at about 279 Euros before taxes and subsidies. And hey, it's made my a phone manufacturer. Can't argue about that.

Check the review here.

The iPhone is a good phone la ... but until it's officially released in Malaysia, if you encounter any hardware problems, you can't go crying to the Apple Store here. They won't layan you. Anyways, it's been a pretty good one year using that phone. Time to move on ... while the rest of you late adopters have fun with your 3G iPhone :P
