Low-Sang
[ 5:15 pm ] A couple of days ago I was thinking to myself ... what a sad Chinese New Year ... no low-sang ... little did I know the whole office would be having low-sang during lunch today :) So yeah, now I don't feel so bad anymore. It was a nice restaurant just around the corner. Eric Tsang's restaurant .... what's with all these Hong Kong celebrities and restaurants anyways? No complains about the food, except no PORK! I got my new laptop last Tuesday! And I'm really loving it. It was a headache transferring all my data from the old Acer to this new Dell XPS 1530. Overall, I really love this new laptop. I'm really blessed. The LCD screen looks really GORGEOUS. The only thing missing is a laptop bag. I though I could use the bag the guys gave me for my birthday, but it couldn't fit!! Sigh ... I'll get one this weekend. It's Valentine's day today. Over here, it looks just like any other day. I've not seen anyone walking around with a bouquet of flowers yet. Anyways, I'm only worried about the traffic jam later, argh. Sigh. There's a little scratch on my car rims, kinda deep into the paint. I must have scrapped it over a kerb. Aiyoh ... sad lah. Anyways, I'm in a happy mood. 0 comments Monday, February 11, 2008
Chinese New Year
[ 3:25 pm ] Chinese New Year this year feels kinda short ... it's not like previous years where I'll be going here and there ... and everywhere. Kinda quiet this year. Let's see ... what did I do this time round? As far as visiting is concerned, I only went 2 places hahaha ... Kai Ling's place after yesterday's morning service and Stephan and Amelia's home at night. Btw, those two have quite a comfy home, really nice. And I must say, good taste. I met up with Joel yesterday afternoon at Uncle Lim's Subang Parade. It's been a while since I last saw him, he's bulging at the right places, dunno what's up with him and body building ... and to think that the both of us were almost the same size. Anyways, good to know that he's doing quite well with his business ... all he seems to do nowadays is just issue and sign cheques only ... at least that's what he says. He deserves to be where he is now. Good for him :) We talked a lot about old times, school, our ex-classmates and what everyone else have been doing. It's really good to know that everyone seems to be doing well. Am at office now, taking some time off to blog a little ;) Eh ... am I allowed to do that? ANYWAYS, office is so quiet today ... there's only the 3 of us here. Not very productive day, but have to finish whatever we need to do. To be frank, I think everyone is still in the Chinese New Year mood. I am. Went to watch Sweeny Todd at Cineleisure with Sunil, Yoke Yee and Jenny a week ago. Quite a morbid comedy/musical movie. I like it. Blood everywhere. It makes you feel guilty that you laughed ... but it's funny alright. It was raining really heavily at Cineleisure, we had to cross over to The Curve using the pedestrian bridge, kinda fun with the wind + rain blowing at you. I was listening to the radio on my way to work today, this lyric from a song hit me ... Live your life until love is found, Or love's gonna get you down. Makes perfect sense. No point chasing after love, it does get you down. Hey, I have every right to say that man, I'm freaking 29 this year ... but do I actually WANT to worry about it? Hmm ... to be honest, at one time I was, but then I realised you can't actually go LOOK for love, it's the other way round. Anyways, this is subjected to a lengthy debate that I'm quite lazy to write about right now. Joel was sharing with me about his girlfriend and the things that they talk about. One of them is kinda interesting, which I think it does cross the mind of every other couples out there. What if, while in this current relationship, you find someone who is hotter, nicer, everything double of that person you're with right now, what would you do if the opportunity is there? Kinda hard for me to answer since I'm not in that position, but his answer was simple, you're basically starting all over again with this new person, things that were ironed out with your current girlfren would have to worked out again with this new person, everything fresh. To me, I feel it's really troublesome to get to know a person all over again, but hey, that's just my personal opinion. I know there are some that wouldn't mind, call differing personalities lah. I wouldn't want to start all over again with a new person man ... maybe it's because of this mentality I'm still single :D I find it amusing when I do see my peers ... 'actively' seeking ... and I'm not ... what the hell am I waiting for? I dunno man. Love's gonna get you down hahhahaha Anyways, back to work. 0 comments Archives nothing |
