The Beard: Day 50
[ 7:39 pm ] Who said I couldn't? 50 days. 50 daaaaaaaayyysssssssssss I look like a total mess and I know it ... but I think it's sweet of you guys (some lah) to say I actually look good with this beard. We all know the truth, try to make it a little bit more conviencing lah! :P For those who had no idea why I'm doing this, maybe I should clear it up a little bit. I'm doing this not because I want to, but because I needed to :P It's for my church's Easter play on the 16th of April. Now, there's no Easter bunny ... and bunnies have no beards ... so, I'm not playing Easter bunny :P But rather the role of Jesus. What does Jesus have to do with Easter and not the bunny? Come then for our Easter service. Anyways, 2 more weeks or so until fasting ends. I can't wait. I decided to gave up 2 meals a day, something which I initially thought would be a lot easier than giving up meat like I did last year. Boy, was I wrong. First 2 weeks was really difficult and I couldn't take it. I was thinking about food most of the time ... which really, is rare. I for one am not the type that would have pictures of food in my head. I guess it's pretty normal for the body to crave for things it lacks. I'm pretty used to it now, so much so it doesn't affect me anything more that a little growl .... I feel the hunger ... but that's just it. Nothing more to it. Some things are worth praying for. :) 0 comments Archives nothing |
